Essential Spectrum Due to Singularity

چکیده
The aim of this short note is to explain important spectral phenomenon which can be observed for differential operators appearing in problems of magnetic hydrodynamics. This phenomenon are due to the nonperturbative behavior of the essential spectrum. It has been observed that the essential spectrum of a matrix differential operator on a finite interval can be different from the limit of the essential spectra of the differential operators determined by the same operator matrix on an increasing sequence of smaller intervals tending to the original interval. Trivial counterpart of this phenomena is well known for infinite intervals, since for example the essential spectrum of − d2 dx2 on a finite interval [−an, bn] is empty and therefore does not give the essential spectrum of − d 2 dx2 on the whole line when an, bn → ∞. The phenomenon described in the current note is more sophisticated and is due to a rather complicated interplay between the components of

Measure of non strict singularity of Schechter essential spectrum of two bounded operators and application
In this paper, we discuss the essential spectrum of sum of two bounded operators using measure of non strict singularity. Based on this new investigation, a problem of one-speed neutron transport operator is presented.
متن کاملCOORDINATE INFLUENCE ON SINGULARITY OF A 3-UPS PARALLEL MANIPULATOR
This paper shows the coordinates influence on singularity of a three degree-of-freedom structure, namely, three-Universal-Prismatic-Spherical (3-UPS) parallel manipulator. Rotational coordinates, which are chosen to define the orientation of the platform, affect the singularity of the manipulator. Euler parameters, which don't have any inherent geometrical singularity are utilized, however they...
متن کاملComparison of original and weighted singularity indexin separation of Pb- Zn mineralized zone in the Haft Savaran district, Central Iran
The Haft Saravan area is located in 90 km SE Arak in the central Iran. This area is a part of Malyer-Isfahan metallogenic belt. The article's objective is determining the most suitable method for identifying mineralized zones using original singularity and weighted singularity methods in three-dimensional space. In weighted singularity method, mineralized zones have a greater volume relative to...
متن کاملOn the Spectrum of the Radiation from a Naked Singularity
In the final stages of collapse, quantum radiation due to particle creation from a naked singularity is expected to be significantly different from black hole radiation. In certain models of collapse it has been shown that, neglecting the back reaction of spacetime, the particle flux on future null infinity grows as the inverse square of the distance from the Cauchy horizon. This is to be contr...
متن کاملAnalysis of Heart Beat Dynamics through Singularity Spectrum
The analysis to detect arrhythmias and life-threatening conditions are highly essential in today world and this analysis can be accomplished by advanced non-linear processing methods for accurate analysis of the complex signals of heartbeat dynamics. In this perspective, recent developments in the field of multiscale information content have lead to the Microcanonical Multiscale Formalism (MMF)...
